Investment planning

Put your savings and capital to work.

Whether you save every month or already have investment experience, we explore your options with a long-term perspective and a plan tailored to your needs.

Discuss your investment options

20-minute personal meeting · No charge or obligation to buy

We start with how you save or invest today. We discuss what you want to achieve, which funds you need to keep available and how long you can invest the rest. Making better use of your savings is a valid starting point in itself; you do not need to have a specific goal already defined.

Where would you like to begin?

Do you save every month? We explore how the same contribution could have the potential for greater future value through investing and compounding. We relate the amount to the duration and the risk you can take.

Do you have money set aside? We separate immediate needs and an emergency reserve from capital that could be invested. We plan around when you will need the money and the access you want to retain.

Do you already invest or run your own business? We consider the role additional investment options could play alongside what you already have, across other markets, sectors or asset classes.

Where is your money invested?

Insurance-based investment plans provide access to selected portfolios investing in funds from international investment firms. Depending on their composition, they include shares in companies across different countries and sectors, government and corporate bonds, or money market instruments.

Available portfolios may contain funds from firms such as Vanguard, BlackRock, Fidelity, Amundi, Schroders, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management and PIMCO. The specific composition and choices are confirmed for each plan; this does not mean that every fund is available as a standalone option.

What does diversification mean in practice?

We examine how capital is spread across countries, sectors and asset classes. Two funds from different firms may invest in the same companies. Their actual holdings and overlap matter, not just the number of options.

We discuss what an option adds to your existing arrangements. Diversification can reduce dependence on a single company or market, without eliminating investment risk.

Knowledge to support your own decision.

My academic background in Economics and research into financial markets inform how I assess your options. I explain where your money is invested, how the allocation relates to your needs, the total costs and what happens if you need access sooner. You decide with a clear understanding of the possibilities and limitations.

What will your money buy tomorrow?

An amount can stay the same while inflation reduces its purchasing power. We take this into account when considering the future value of your capital. Investing offers the potential for a return, without guaranteeing that it will keep pace with inflation.

Your plan is reviewed along the way.

I study market developments and help you understand how the selected portfolios are progressing. In our meetings, we can review the allocation in light of your goals, time horizon and investment profile. A market movement does not automatically call for a change in strategy. We discuss the rationale, cost and risk of any adjustment, which requires your informed approval.

Investments are professionally managed by the managers of the respective portfolios and funds. My support concerns the planning and options within your insurance-based investment plan. Availability, reallocations, access to capital and charges are governed by its terms. A reallocation without a charge does not mean the plan has no costs. Investments carry a risk of capital loss and returns are not guaranteed.

Investment as part of your wider plan

We connect investment planning with health and family protection, considering whether returns over time could offset part of the cost of your cover.

How we connect protection and capital

Before you choose

  • Current savings, existing investments and liquidity needs.
  • Knowledge, experience, risk tolerance and capacity to absorb losses.
  • Total charges, duration and early surrender terms.
  • Return and inflation assumptions, including less favourable scenarios.

Your first questions

Do I need investment knowledge to get started?

No. We begin with what you want to understand, and I explain the options in plain language. We proceed once you understand how the proposal works, its costs and its risks.

I already have investments. What could working together add?

We can consider whether the options in an insurance-based investment plan complement what you already have in terms of diversification, time horizon and your needs. The discussion does not require you to change an existing advisory relationship.

Can I invest a lump sum without making monthly contributions?

We consider lump-sum plans as well as regular contribution plans. The choice depends on your needs, the amount available and the plan’s terms.

What if I need my money sooner?

We review surrender terms and charges from the outset. The value when you withdraw may be lower than your contributions. That is why we keep money for immediate needs separate.

Does the compounding example show what I will earn?

It shows a mathematical projection using a constant hypothetical return after costs, before tax and inflation. It does not predict markets or a specific product’s performance. Actual returns fluctuate and may be negative.

Can a legal entity take out a plan?

We consider an insurance-based investment plan in the legal entity’s name, with lump-sum or regular contributions. We confirm eligibility and terms, with accounting treatment reviewed by your accountant.
